Brady Matteson – Sleeper

posted in: Review | 0

The feeling of calmness while getting onto a bus, but not knowing why you got on the bus, and where is the bus even going. Hiss, pop, ding, hiss, then some layers. I’m not sure where all the sounds are coming from on this serene new album from Brady Matteson, but I dig it. These six tracks were recorded in December and January, and offer a more laid-back, but melancholy experience than Matteson’s previous album, Thought Journal. If you like long snowy walks while listening to some tunes, then pop on them headphones and have a nice chill time.
