Impulsive Hearts – Cry All The Time

posted in: Review | 0

Who would’ve thought such sunny pop rock could come from a city as distinctly un-sunny as Chicago? Much like a Midwest summer, this record is concise, but makes the most out of each minute of runtime. Hooky, sometimes 60’s inspired song craft merges with heavier lyrical topics, providing a balance that proves irresistible. This is the kind of music to turn up in your car, roll the windows down, and cruise around to. Weather permitting, obviously!

Standout tracks: Melody, Can I Ask U, Boxing Day, I Don’t Mind
