The Wild Honey Collective – Volume 1

posted in: Review | 0

Wild Honey Collective does exactly what they set out of to do, which is, amass a solid collection of front porch jams for the warmer days ahead. Or the longing for those days in the meantime. Stylistically, we’re treated to a fun variety of country, folk, and bluegrass sounds. The songs here are both distinctive and flow naturally into each other, like a babbling brook flowing outside the cabin you imagine yourself going to when you want to get away from the reality of the moment. But for now, the tunes here should help you settle and sing along a little bit. Another wonderful release coming from Lansing’s GTG Records.
