Wet Tropics – Everybody Get In

posted in: Review | 0

Noisy, rocking, distorted: I like those things. The songs are reminiscent of the more structured aspects of Sonic Youth or Ty Segall. The nine songs and thirty minutes are to the point, but with plenty of room for the guitar noise to come and go. Each song feels like its own anthem, the anthem just might be full of dread or detachment, Headphones are recommend to further capture this dread, and the guitar textures. Looking forward to hearing these tunes, and whatever Wet Tropics write next, live in Chicago asap.
