The Counter Elites – Good Company Man

The third album from this Detroit duo, continues their swift, satirical punk stylings. Fuzzy, thick bass, politically absurd lyrics that are delivered in blasts of two minutes or less. Tempos stay fast, there’s not really a chance to take a breath.

Strongly recommend this album to fans of Minutemen, Dead Milkmen, and Devo. Lots of influences from the 70’s and 80’s swirl together to create a unique sound. 19 songs, 28 minutes. Check out their other albums if you have not heard them. Likely the only punk album to reference casseroles in two different songs.
