Dang, these vocal melodies are hot. I first heard these songs at Chicago’s Phyllis’ Musical Inn, one of Everday Specials’ first shows. On first listen of this 6 song short play, all the songs popped right back in my head, and the melodies have been running through my head since. For fans of poppy garagey rock, these songs are hits. These songs get to the point too, two minutes of distorted guitar, drums, vocals, and occasional keys. If you’re in the Chicago area, Everyday Specials have been playing around regularly, go have a good time.
