As the title suggests, this really is an album for the heart. In the space of ten minutes, Kara Jackson takes you on a ride through the ups and downs of love in four affecting tracks. The instrumentals here consist mainly of guitar and vocals, with the standout being Kara’s voice and lyrical skill. There’s something about these songs that is familiar and comforting, like a meditative walk on a brisk autumn day. This EP, which was released two years ago, definitely has replay value, if only to stay in the moment for just a little longer. Check out Kara’s other work as well.
