This song is full of wit and insight, with references to Calvin & Hobbes and guest vocals from Honey Cellar. This is the first single off of an album that will explore gender and the many forms that it takes. There is a joyful lightheartedness to this track that makes it a welcome relief from existence. While all the influences are very recognizable, a little John Prine, some musical theatre, and indie pop, the track feels welcomingly fresh. Looking forward to the album, maybe you will be too?
