Before listening to rincs, I read their Spotify bio, which is also the only information I could find about them: “Los Angeles weirdos, Ableton, coffee, DIY, bicycles, walking shoes.” I’m guessing that if you’re reading this, you probably connect with most or all of those things. I’m not sure if I hear the walking shoes in the music, but the beats and vocals move along like a nice walk. Within the first second, of the first song, aspects of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone are quite pleasantly there. While those aspects remain, there is a bit more cheer throughout this short play.
