Sometimes I find it difficult to write about music I really like. This is one such case. The songs here shine lyrically, speaking to a myriad of experiences relating to coming of age and everything that entails. Style-wise there is a good range of sounds, from lo-fi acoustic/vocals to indie pop-rock with various levels of noise in the arrangement. With gems of lines like “time is a trash compactor” and “you don’t even eat me out”, Rosie Tucker establishes a unique voice that will keep you coming back. They are certainly an artist to look out for!
