This split LP is an Ohio treat. Based in Dayton, SKRT have been playing their dense and energetic punk tunes since 2013. Going from the Lung side to the SKRT side has the feeling of being at a well thought out show, where the bands’ similarities and differences compliment each other. These six songs fly by with distorted guitars, relentless drums, vocals in that sweet spot between singing and yelling. Listening to this, has got me looking forward to the day when folks can see SKRT playing at Blind Bob’s in Dayton.
