Volk – Atlanta Dog

“It’s a holy right of passage, fighting apathy…” Nashville Rock n Roll exactly as one would demand and expect! Volk pulls out all the stops here: rhythmic swagger, irreverent lyricism, and some definite catchiness to tie it all together. You can hear traces of early era White Stripes to ZZ to Dolly to outlaw country and all manner of sounds in between. Basically, Volk is exactly what you’d want to hear blaring out of a honky tonk on Music Row at 11:30 on a Saturday night.
